There Was An Old Monster!
by Adrian Emberley
In this not-too-spooky version of the famous song about an old lady swallowing everything in sight, a colorful monster gobbles up ants, bats, lizards, jackals, and even lions! Children will love the bold, dynamic illustrations of wide-eyed animals and the snaggle-toothed monster, as well as the jazzy rhymes that repeat throughout the textmaking it easy for children to remember the lyrics and begin "reading" them.
